MGH - Revere Pediactrics
CCC Revere Pediatrics is a student faculty collaborative clinic at MGH Revere HealthCare Center piloted in April 2012. MGH Revere serves an ethnically diverse, predominately lower socioeconomic status population.
For students interested in pediatric primary care, CCC Revere provides opportunities to serve this population and learn about normal child development, physiology, pathophysiology, history taking and physical examination skills, and management of common pediatric conditions through student-centered teaching sessions and hands-on experiences working with patients and their families. Volunteers may also help to address the psychosocial aspects of health and ensure continuity of care through the Resource Center team.
This clinic offers a unique opportunity for students to work on their pediatric specific clinical skills. Team members provide direct follow up on patients seen at the clinic as well as research and develop individualized resources for patients and their families. Our site emphasizes education for our JCs and SCs, and clinical involvement for our undergrads.
Bus transportation is available from the Longwood Campus. For directions to Revere HealthCare Center, click here.
