Welcome to the Crimson Care Collaborative (CCC)!
Our journey began in 2009 when more than forty Harvard Medical students collaborated with the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts to develop the Crimson Care Collaborative. As Harvard's first student-faculty collaborative practice, the clinic was created to address the difficulty that patients often faced when trying to find long-term primary care in the post Massachusetts healthcare-reform era.
After an extensive pilot program, CCC officially launched in the fall of 2010 with a single clinic. Today, CCC is a student-administered evening clinic, where medical students (precepted by faculty members) take care of patients at five sites:
- MGH - Internal Medicince Associates (IMA)
- MGH - Chelsea
- Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC)
- Cambridge Health Alliance
- MGH - Revere (Pediatrics)
We have developed this website to inform the public of our endeavors, provide basic information about our sites to our current and prospective patients, and to educate the academic sphere of our research initiatives.
